Samsung has made a big announcement in the field of technology. Samsung has launched the world's largest storage device. Samsung has introduced the PM1643 storage device on Tuesday. Under this ambitious project of Samsung, the device has given 30 TB of storage. The device's width is 2.5 inches. Users of this Samsung device can download 5,700 HD movies. In other words, 500 days of video can be stored in the device.

Speaking of software, the PM1643 storage device works on ECC (error correction code) algorithm. With the help of this technology, saving data remains more secure in the device, besides saving needs less maintenance. The device also sports meta data protection and data retention. Beside It can also recover the device easily by damaging the power failure.

The company can cash out many versions of the device this year, including 15.36 TB, 7.68 TB, 3.84 TB and 1.92 TB. Apart from this, talk less than 1 TB of storage, the company can launch 960 GB and 860 GB version by the end of the year.

The device works much safer and faster than previous generation. The device has an interface of 12 Gbps SAS, whose read and write speed goes up to 400,000 IOPs (second on input / output operation) and up to 50,000 IOPS. In addition, the device's sequential read and write speed goes up to 2,100 Mbps and 1,700 Mbps.

With the launch of these devices, the company is keeping many sectors in mind. The company wants to target government institutions, financial services, health services, education, social media, retail and business services.

Prior to the PM1643 of Samsung's 30 TB storage, users have liked several storage devices from other companies, including the Crucial MX500, Toshiba Q300, Integral P Series 4, Kingston KC400 SSD and WD Blue SSD.
